Key points to notice.

A task in today's lesson was to watch scenes from three different films. These were Jurassic Park, Good Will Hunting and Goodfellas. However while watching we had to notice these key points; protagonist, antagonist, pivotal character, dialogue, intentions & subtext. These were the following conclusions:

Jurassic Park - Lunch debate scene
Protagonist - Dr Hammond
Antagonist - Jeff
Pivotal Character - Everyone else
Dialogue - Speech, hitting the table
Intentions - Didn't want the park open
Subtext - Two completely different species, many years apart.

Good Will Hunting - Bar scene
Protagonist - Will Hunting
Antagonist - Clark
Pivotal Character - Not clear from the clip
Dialogue - Speech
Intentions - Tired to embarrass the guy to get the girl
Subtext - Arguing to prove Clark was really a jerk

Goodfellas - Restaurant scene
Protagonist - Henry
Antagonist - Tommy
Pivotal Character - Everyone else
Dialogue - Speech
Intentions - Tommy is the joker and then tries to embarrass Henry to make the others laugh
Subtext - Begins putting Henry in his place by keep asking what he means when he says "How am I funny" but then it turns out to be a joke.
